Bonnie and Braw is an independent production company based in Edinburgh, headed up by producer and award-winning filmmaker John McEwan-Whyte, building off his success as the executive producer of the Dwayne Johnson-starring feature-length documentary "Ten Count" and his development, directing, and editing work for well-known brands including HMV, Fjällräven, and Visit Scotland.
With a focus on prestige unscripted and scripted TV and film content, Bonnie and Braw have already received several awards for their work, including "Best Short Doc" at the Budapest International Music Festival, "Best Doc Music Video" at the Munich Music Video Awards, and a gold medal at the UK Music Video Festival.
We are all about bringing our unique Scottish voice to a global audience, producing noisy, inspiring, and enlightening stories, collaborating with well-known names on a variety of projects, including Bob Harris, Hamza Yussin, Izuka Hoyle, and KT Tunstall, and working in cooperation with international brands such as BBC, National Geographic, Sky Arts, and Aardman.
Our aims are big, and our ambitions are even bigger, with a target of becoming one of the top ten largest production companies in Scotland by 2026.
